The Offer
Help me promote my website and products by posting links and reviews at other locations on the web. In return get free access to special video lessons that are not on any DVD or available anywhere else!

IMPORTANT! Please read this whole page before you do anything.

You can get full access to one video per post. There are 5 different video lessons available so you can post up to 5 different times (duplicates of the same post will not be accepted). Choose from two different ways to post:

1. Post a link to http://Guitar-Music-Theory.com
2. Post a positive product review

OPTION 1: Post a Link
My first preference is that you post a link to my website somewhere on the web. Links should be posted on a site or page that has something to do with guitar or music. This could include:

1. Your own website, band website, blog etc.
2. YouTube, MySpace, Facebook or anything similar
4. Any public guitar-related forum, discussion group, etc.

OPTION 2: Write a Review
If you're unable to post a link, you can still get access to a free online video lesson by writing a brief product review, testimonial or comment. This can be done at:

1. Amazon.com (Please "tag" my products too)
2. My Blog (guitarmusictheory.blogspot.com)
3. iTunes (Guitar Music Theory Podcast)

Directions For OPTION 1: Post a Link

If you choose to post a link, be sure to include the text http://Guitar-Music-Theory.com which is my homepage (do NOT link to this page you're reading now). Also, make sure to include some personal comments. Nobody likes blatant advertising, so don't just post the web address or pitch a product. Instead, include some good relevant information about guitar theory and share a little bit of what you've learned. Try to mention my name (Desi Serna) or one of the products you own. Here's an example of a good post:

"I'm studying guitar theory. It's really cool to see how music works. Today I learned that the pentatonic scale has two different totalities, major and minor. This is explained well in a book called Fretboard Theory by Desi Serna. Check out the free information available at http://Guitar-Music-Theory.com. It's worth a visit."

This is just an example, your post should be based on your own personal experience. Once your link is posted, send the web address (URL) to desi@guitar-music-theory.com so that I can see it. I'll follow up with a free video of your choice!

Posting to Forums
If you don't have access to a website that you can post a link on, then forums are perfect. In fact, posting links in forums is one of the BEST ways to help promote my website. A forum is simply an online discussion group and there are many dedicated to guitar. Forum content is open to the public, but you'll have to create an account to post comments. Signing up is quick and easy. Any guitar-related forum will do. Here are some of the most popular ones:

http://www.guitarnoise.com/forums
http://www.guitarnotes.com/forum
http://www.guitartricks.com/forum
http://www.guitarzone.com/forum
http://www.ibreathemusic.com/forums

Just visit one of the forum links above and register to become a member. Then, do a quick search for a topic you can comment on. For example, search for discussions (threads) about guitar theory or pentatonic scales. Read what other members have posted and try to post a helpful response. Here's an example of a good forum post:

"I see this is a discussion about guitar theory. What really helped me understand music is learning about chord progressions and applying scales. Specifically, playing by numbers and recognizing modes. I'm studying a book called Fretboard Theory by Desi Serna. Check out the free information available at http://Guitar-Music-Theory.com. I think you'll find it helpful."

This is just an example, your post should be based on your own personal experience. If you can't find a good thread to reply to, then start a new discussion of your own. Here's an example:

"Hi, I just want to connect with other players who have an interest in studying guitar theory. I'm studying a book called Fretboard Theory by Desi Serna. I'm learning a lot about scales, chords and progressions. If you're like me and want to know more about how music works, then check out the free information available at http://Guitar-Music-Theory.com. Let me know what you think."

Once again, this is just an example, your post should be based on your own personal experience. Once your post is submitted, send the web address (URL) to desi@guitar-music-theory.com so that I can see it. I'll follow up with a free video of your choice!

Directions For OPTION 2: Write a Review

If posting a link is out of the question, then you can still get access to an online video lesson by either writing a positive review for any of my products at Amazon.com, adding comments to my Blog or leaving a positive review of my Podcast at iTunes.

Desi Serna Products at Amazon.com (Or just search "Desi Serna" at Amazon)
Just read the other reviews in order to get an idea of what to write. As always, your comments should be based on your own personal experience. Also, be sure to add "Tags" to the product you review. This is a great way to help increase my visibility in Amazon searches. PLEASE NOTE: In order to post reviews at Amazon, you need an Amazon account which means you have purchased something (anything) from them at least once before.

Desi Serna Guitar Theory Blog (http://guitarmusictheory.blogspot.com)
Just scroll through my posts and choose a topic that you can comment on. At the bottom of each one of my posts, right under the signature, is a little green link that says "comments." Click on it and complete the fields.

Desi Serna Guitar Music Theory Podcast at iTunes (Search "guitar music theory" at iTunes music store)
Again, just read the other reviews in order to get an idea of what to write. As always, your comments should be based on your own personal experience. Try to incorporate specific keywords related to the topics I teach like "guitar theory," "pentatonic scale," "CAGED," "chord progressions," "modes," etc.

Send an email to desi@guitar-music-theory.com and let me know when your review has been posted. I'll follow up with a free video of your choice!

More Online Video Lessons
You can receive access to additional online video lessons with each new link or new product review you post
(duplicates of the same post will not be accepted).
