Jam Tracks

Below you will find free jam tracks to help you practice some of the content taught in Fretboard Theory. All guitars and vocals have been removed. Let these tracks go and then play right over the top of them. Be sure to follow the instructions under each link. HINT: You can simply practice playing the specified scale patterns right over top of the track to hear what kind of sound is created. Or, you can steal licks and phrases from other songs you've learned and rework them to fit over the tracks. For example, parts of "Susie Q," "Purple Haze," "Pawn Shop," etc. can be played over the "Cocaine" track because they are all in the same key. These same parts can be transposed up two frets (from Em to F#m) and played over the "Give Me One Reason" track and so on. These files are my own work and represent my interpretation of the songs. You may only use these files for private study, scholarship, or research. This material is not for sale and is NOT AVAILABLE ON CD. In the style of "Cocaine" by Eric Clapton In the style of "Give Me One Reason" by Tracy Chapman In the style of "Cold Shot" by Stevie Ray Vaughan In the style of "Red House" by Jimi Hendrix In the style of "Johnny B. Goode" by Chuck Berry In the style of "Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton In the style of "Last Kiss" by Pearl Jam In the style of "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd In the style of "Heaven" by Los Lonely Boys In the style of "Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp In the style of "La Bamba" by Los Lobos |
