Hi Mr. Desi Serna

I am Vivek. I am a newbie. I just started studying guitar. I listened to your podcasts it was great. Thanks for your free lessons. I have a doubt in pentatonic scale pattern. You asked us to study the five patterns. I studied and worked the pattern for G Major. Now I have a doubt, how could i transpose the patterns to other keys. Can you help me? Thank you.

It all depends on the root. If you start on the 6th string 3rd fret and play Pentatonic pattern 1 you are in g. If you start on 5 you are in a, etc. Learn the notes on the 6th adn fifth string and you will be able to see how to transpose from that know how.
