music world be without Michael Jackson?

About guitar scales. How to learn and use the pentatonic scale to play melodies, riffs, lead guitar solos, bass lines and songs. How to map the fretboard and connect pentatonic scale patterns. Plus music theory and how to play over chords and progressions.

music world be without Michael Jackson?

How different would the music world be without Michael Jackson? Since Michael Jackson is a huge influence on today's music, I was just wondering how different music, especially pop music, would be if Michael Jackson had never entered the music scene. What do you think? Would pop music be very different from what it is today?

Not sure how this question is related to guitar theory but I did just read a book by Michale Jackson's recording engineer. Jackson was an amazing talent. I think a lot of guitar players have a hard time understanding this because they don't see him playing an instrument. But his voice was his instrument and he created most of the melodies and harmonies to his songs. All by ear!
