I purchased the Fender material along with your song books about a week ago. I've been diligently going through the material and playing the songs in the songbooks but now I'm at a point where I am totally frustrated. Everything was going great and I thought this was THE instruction I needed. Unfortunately, like so many instructional programs out there, as soon as the material progresses the instructions stops. The very basic material had great instruction were all aspects of the lesson where explained and tied together. The second the material progressed into movable chords and finally scales the instruction stopped....nothing was tied together. It basically left me hanging.Â

Where do I go from here cause nothing is making sense now?Â

You're right that the Fender DVD introduces some things without much information about what to do with it or how to proceed. To be honest, I think they jumped ahead much too quickly. I recommend you focus on the beginner guitar songbooks. In fact, learn as many easy guitar songs as you can. You'll get introduced to new technique and things along the way. The Fast Track series has more books you may be interested in (that I don't sell). And once you learn how to play from the chord symbols and tab printed in books, you can get a lot of use out of other easy guitar song resources. See the resources linked to toward the bottom of my beginner guitar page under the heading "What to Do Next?" http://guitar-music-theory.com/beginner-guitar.html
